“If you’re alone, I’ll be you’re shadow. If you want to cry, I’ll be you’re shoulder. If you want a hug, I’ll be you’re pillow. If you need to be happy, I’ll be you’re smile… But, anytime you need a friend, I’ll just be me.” That’s the promises of a bestfriends.
I believe that friendship is not a label. It is a promise. In an ever-changing world, it’s hard to know who your true friends are and it’s hard to find friends. Fortunately, I found her 12 years ago. I’m so lucky to have her in my life. Without Hyacinth, I cannot achieve what I have and I’m not as happy as I right now.
Hyacinth is beautiful even though she has pimples on her face and small girl. She looks like a cat the way she smiles because of her attractive dimples that compliments with her black chinita eyes.
She is helpful when I have many assignments especially about writing because she is a writer in Wattpad and her school during elementary days. She is generous in her knowledge. She is always teaches me how to come out a good essay and poem in Filipino as well as in English. She always shares what she have such as: foods and chocolate.
Her big mouth brings laughter to me and to my family everytime she visits in our house. She is so honest on what’s going on in her life. She always shares her experiences and her secrets to me.
Her positivity, happy-go-lucky and friendly personality changes me as a person. It influences me. When I was child and even now, I get to a point sometimes, I put down myself and always think negative. She always lift me up. I was a bad girl also when I was a little girl when I was a little girl but not literally bad. I don’t want to get along with other people and I have my own world. I got influenced by her to become friendly.
Up to now, were very good friends. I consider our friendship is like having our own journey to a top of a building. The top of the building is our dreams. The stairs represents as trials that tested our friendship and teaches us a lot of lessons. The handle represents our family that supports us. For now, were just starting our journey and our friendship keeps stronger. In case, she will fall I will catch her and I know when I fall she will catch me too.
